Ian Ash

Ian Ash started learning to play the piano in 4th grade. Two years later,  Ian was writing songs regularly and recorded an album on his father’s four-track cassette tape. At the age of 13 Ian won the Summerfest Pepsi Talent Search (Milwaukee, WI) for best composition. “Melodies have always popped into my head since I was very young”- Ian Ash.    As an artist Ian wants to express universal emotions in a unique way not articulated before. Grammy award-winning Beach Boy Bruce Johnston praised Ian’s performance when he competed and won “Best Vocalist” at the Waukesha County Fair, earning  him the opening slot for the Beach Boys. With his lovable nerdy style,  Ian Ash is always writing, recording and playing out with his band, The Last Bees.
